What is the difference between an Elemental membership and the other tiers of membership?

Elemental membership is your first step to joining a community that is dedicated to advancing science for the benefit of society. Elemental membership does not include access to Science content because you can explore Science content through Caltech's Science subscription. Other levels of membership may be purchased if you wish to have access to the print journal and/or increase your support of AAAS.

What is included with my AAAS Membership?

Your membership strengthens AAAS' efforts to speak up for science and comes with unique benefits. The Elemental tier includes access to the AAAS Member Community; the monthly Member Update newsletter, weekly Policy Alert, and daily ScienceAdviser; and access to a variety of leadership opportunities and educational resources, training courses, and networking activities to advance your career and help you engage within the science community and other communities you care about.

What if I'm already a member of AAAS?

Don't worry! You can still be counted as an affiliated Elemental Member through Caltech's partnership with AAAS by filling out this form. The AAAS will note your participation and make sure you are included in any AAAS+Caltech Elemental Membership opportunities.
